Well, I am on the do not contact list, but that does not stop Vodacom from continuously phoning me "to give me a free phone"...

Does anyone know their HQ number?
I just received a phone call from them and when I asked them where they got my number from, they said I must speak to one of the managers. The lady transferred me to the manager and when I asked him where they got my number from, he mumbled something and threw the receiver down.
A month ago, I found out that the POST OFFICE (SAPO) sold some of my information to a company in Cape Town called the "Internet Database". This was after someone posted me a package with my private cellphone number as reference. Budget Insurance bought this information and started phoning me non stop. I then e-mailed Budget Insurance's complaints department and a couple of days later a lady from "the internet database" phoned me back. She told me that my number has been flagged and that they will no longer sell my data or "spam" me. When I asked her sooo.. what about all the other people? She just gave an awkward laugh and said good bye.
