The amount of apps for the Playbook is still a bit lean but there are some cool free ones already out (all in Appworld).

TheConverter > converts just about anything
Color Harmony > great for designers to pick a colour and get complimenting colour sets
Guitar Playbook > for the musos, has a full chord dictionary and a tuner that can also be changed to your own tunings

Add any that you are using and can recommend to others.

Remote Desktop for Blackberry Playbook

Remote Desktop for Blackberry Playbook is now available on App World. This uses RDP (Port 3389) unlike previous offerings which required installation of software on your servers and desktops. Retails for $6.99.

It's brilliant. Very quick too - faster than my desktop PC! Only works on wifi though.
