Well no, the actual policy is free replacement of the media, the only cost is shipping it to them. That could be negated if MI pulls finger, I've heard conflicting results.

Worst case - you ship you damaged disc to europe. A coupe of bucks to replace a R600 game? I think it'd be worth it.
