PlayStation 4 update causing Wi-Fi problems

The latest PS4 update is giving certain users an NW-31297-2 error, which means they cannot connect to their Wi-Fi network.

Yip, haven't updated my firmware yet until a fix arrives. There are temporary solutions but these may cause more headaches than relief for the non-tech savvy users.

*removing security on the wireless [definite no no].
*Changing WiFi mode to b/g [affects older routers from reading comments on NeoGaf].
*If possible, run a network cable.

Not sure how this slipped through beta testing .

Haven't updated my console since 4.0 , playing less and less. Probably play less than 3 hours a week. Maybe its Fifa thats become boring.

As strange as this may seem I've only played online with The Division when it came out (Ah, those were the days) and Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. I'll give it a try next month.
