I have a problem trying to access:

http://www.wowio.com/

It seems to work fine from my XP box using Firefox 3.03. However on the same machine using IE7 I get a HTTP 500 Internal Server Error.

On my Vista laptops using IE7 I get the same error while using Firefox 3.03 I get the following error:

"Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'
Type mismatch:'[string:"147, 198.54.202.142"]'
/include/Session.inc, line 20 "

Anyone know what could cause this?

Vista FF 3.0.3 works fine.

Vista IE7 tells me. "This error (HTTP 500 Internal Server Error) means that the website you are visiting had a server problem which prevented the webpage from displaying.

For more information about HTTP errors, see Help."

Thanks for the feedback - I suspect my Vista FF3.0.3 problem might be to do with my network setup as when I check my wireless network connection status my IPv4 Connectivity is shown as "Internet" while my IPv6 Connectivity is shown as "Local"

Could that be a possible cause?

Not sure. I have a direct broadband connection through the bridge on the router. This connection says IPv4 Local and IPv6 Limited.
My Local area connection says Local for both.

Vista FF OK,
ie 7 VB script error.
Safari VB script error
Chrome VB script error

looks like there's a bug in the website - maybe it was only ever tested with FF.

Thanks for the replies - Update for today is that the site is now working in IE7 on both Vista and XP. However Firefox on my Vista machine is still giving the VBScript error.

I guess at least a part of the problem was not related to any thing om my side. BTW genetic what type of access do you use (ie Saix, IS or 3G). My problems were on Saix.

Yip - now started working in my Vista FF as well - something must have been changed on the site.
Thanks for all the responses.

BTW it seems like a useful site and contains some good ebooks that can either be downloaded for a fee or read for free online. I found it while searching for an excel book.
