Hi All. Looking for a new mouse for First and Third person shooters.
Please help me choose.

I have a G602, awesome mouse. Locally, the G604 is probably easier to get and of course a newer model.

I have a G502 hero, it’s a great mouse.

Granted I don’t game with it, but I use it for 8 hours a day no complaints.

Possibly my favorite mouse I have used (numerous MX masters, marathon, triathlon)

The best mouse (ever) was and is the ms mouse with two buttons and a scroll wheel. These days I'm using a corsair scimitar pro rgb for my general gaming and an asus rog for work.

Xtrfy M42. Sorry, not on your list. Technically, I think these mice might be too small, not many people like small mice like I do.

A good XL mouse is the Corsair Sabre RGB Pro.

Nothing wrong with Logitech.

I have a Corsair Glaive RGB, but it’s not as good as the G502.
Previously had a G500 and an MX1000 Wireless many years ago. Of the best I ever used. Interesting to see Logitech is still getting the most votes

On which pad?

Coolermaster MP510 or MP511, extra large, but it is sold out instantly in SA when available, otherwise the Cougar Arena X is more than good come to value, but Coolermaster has a GOOD price. All other pads are overrated, come to price, most are now more or less the same in any case. Pads ride on brand reputation and aesthetics.

Hard pads are all bullschit. Friction properties are what is the most important come to pads.

Pads, mice... not an easy topic, since it all comes down to the user. A mouse you may like may be disliked by others, come to usability. It takes weeks to get acquainted with small to extra small mice.

I am now in the market to acquire this mouse,

but I heard that larger revisions may be produced. XS, may be too small, want a small.

Also, @shaheedtait, RJN reviews are highly regarded in the FPS community,

I got a logitech G602 very good mouse but eats batteries. Whatever you do get a corded mouse

I'm currently playing FPS shooters with an MM710, and I like it more than the Razer Mini I have. My daily driver is a G403, but once I went small, I couldn't go back. My tracking improved immensely with smaller and lighter mice. Now I want to try Zy's Rail, because Quake and Halo players are creaming themselves with it.

I use Uniross rechargeable batteries. A charge last me 6 months, plus. Have a spare set in drawer, so I just swop when flat.

Not on your list, but for consideration Steelseries Rival 3 and Aerox Wireless (can be wired, bluetooth or wireless with a usb-c receiver).

Both are extra light mice, if thats what you are into - i have used both of them, and for me, personally, i have enjoyed using both of them. Aerox Wireless is my daily driver at the moment.

You should first stats hand size and mouse grip.

I have rather large hands and like palm grip, that excludes a lot of mice already, I ended uo getting the G502 hero as the price and size are decent. Have two of them, one for about 5 years, the other for about 3 now, they both get a lot of usage and are still fine.

I've had corsair, logitech & RAT mouse(s?) over the years
It sounds stupid but I finally found a mouse I feel that has the perfect button layout & software for me
It's also ~300 bucks
I've had this one for a little over 2 years now & still going strong.

I've got the Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed ... it's wireless and works like a dream. Never had a single stutter that I could attribute to lag, so that Hyperspeed system really works.
