Great productivity mouse - just not for gaming. You will definitely feel the lag in-game.
It's fine I think. I've "accidentally" played a bit with it and it was fine. It has 4000dpi, which is more than I need anyway. It's only the wireless thing which I don't really trust for fast paced games.

Budget R350 after I sell one jar of Redro later this week.
Let us know how it performs once you get it.I'm no competitive gamer, so I'm willing to risk it![]()

I've used the MX3 and it felt good. But once I used a G604, I could feel a huge difference in sensor accuracy and input latency.
And the sensor inaccuracy was felt in just normal clicking, highlighting, selecting etc.
But if you've never used one of their hero-sensors with lightspeed wireless tech, you'll be happy with the MX3.
There's a new version of the MX518. I bought one and it's okay. Not as nice as the original though.Almost 20 years on and still going strong.
Mostly a workmouse now.
