Please help : Windows 8.1 Single ISO or disk needed in CPT north area.

Hi guys

I was hoping anyone could help me out .
I have a Dell laptop that I have been running win 10 tech preview on , The last update though broke it completely and Im unable to find my OS (win 8.1 Single language ) recovery disk .
I suspect my son used it as a frisby .
Anyone that can assist me with either a disk / Copy / ISO so that I can get my laptop up and running ? :cry:

The site`s ISO i downloaded from was riddled with virusses and malware.
I really dont understand why MS or manufacturers dont offer the ISO`s as downloads :(

Me having run win10 tech preview (which is now broken after last patch) makes this option unfortunately the problem if you need running win 8.1 recovery disk image.

Nope, that's a normal Windows installation ISO.

You do a fresh Win8 install from that ISO. You will need a valid Win8 key for activation though (Assuming you still have yours). If not, you'll need to get a Win8loader to activate your windows the pirate way :p

I do have the key that i managed to grab with magicjellybean keyfinder that is inbeded in the BIOS.
Will that key work or will it have to be a retail copy key ?

Nea the old key should work. I can't see why not. Since it's the same machine.

It should not even ask you for a key with Windows 8.1, it will just take the one embedded in the BIOS.

Yes follow the link he provided..Its a normal original iso...use universal usb installer onto a usb and there u go,creation and installation in less than a hour.Did mine this week
