Can anyone recommend any cases for about R700-800?

I've looked at the CoolerMaster CM690 and I like the design, not really how it looks on the outside though.

Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Regards,
Roobir

CM690 V2 is coming soon... I will definitely be upgrading from my CM690 V1. ;)

If you can stretch your budget a little, check out the CM Storm Scout. Really great looker, but the CM690's inside is much spacier with better cable management.

Have a look at the raidmax smilodon. The open side ways side panels are infinitely useful.

or if not that cooler master scout.

I got the Raidmax Smilodon today, really great interior design. I used the extra money of the budget to buy a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 and now alls well that ends well :>

Time to put my q6600 on 3.6GHz :p

Some interesting and good features on that case. Keep us informed on how it works out.

Very nice case and fan, only problems are:
- 19Kg final weight :O
- cant open the motherboard side panel, as the CM Hyper 212 is too big
- scary quiet first bootup :P

Other than that, its perfect :]
Awesome space to hide most of the cables and few hidden features (especially that secret toolkit underneath the HDD cage).

I'd recommend this case to anyone.

Cheers,
Roobir

19KG isn't so bad. It's when your case arrives weighing that amount empty that you have to worry. :)

My previous CoolerMaster Stacker STC-101 was around 15KG empty. :(

I went aluminium on the new Stacker830.

My Raidmax Aztec seems to way I 50000000000000000000000kg.

PS: Since we are on the topic of cases, anyone know how to remagnetize those magnets on the case door?

I bought Raidmax Smilodon.. had it for 2 weeks then I switched to the CM 690. Never looked back!

Well, except now the CM690 MK II is coming out. I want it.

Antec 300

I've got an Antec 300. Very simple but does an excellent job with cooling!! Also fits within your budget.

I paid R779 for the case. All I need now is my graphics card back from the suppliers :3
