unfortunately one cannot send an iMessage to a non-Apple device.
I've even tested websites like Txtemnow.com to send to my own cell phone but the SMS does not go through.

My aim is to send an anonymous sms. Unfortunately one cannot hide your cell number when texting

Why do you want to send an sms to someone and then you don't want them to know you sent it ? You want to spam them ?

Not unless you use your SP's website or a similar sms service.
