Yes I know the skepticism surround online petitions that they don't work and ineffective, but else can we do? I think if this petition works well, it can be turned into real-life and maybe the DA can pick-up on it:

The petition is to try and get Zuma to debate with Helen Zille on national television. Yes I know it's a long shot :rolleyes: but are there any better options out there?

Thanks for posting this - the idea is also that if this does start to get a decent number of signatures then perhaps it could be picked up by the media / turned into a physical petition...

WRT thread -- yes it would be something to watch them debate given that dear Jacob isn't the most substantial fellow. I was talking with a friend about Zuma and the elections on Thursday, and whats really "creepy"/"scary" is that without guidelines from the ANC, he has absolutely no idea what he is talking about. Even ANC supporters look at him strangely when he speaks.

Mbeki challenged him to a debate and he declined. :o
 
Jacob Zuma not only lacks moral fibre, but brains, so he'll avoid such a debate at all costs, just like he has avoided the corruption trial.
