Been holidaying here for the past 2 weeks, but looking forward to getting back to my Iburst.

I really can't understand why the coverage here is so bad. I would have thought a prime holiday destination like Plett would be high on the list for a tower upgrade. But what is the best MTN offers here?

GPRS.

That is when the network is up and running, of course.

Even at 12.20am, with full signal, all I can muster on a speed test is:

* Download time: 89.344 seconds
* Size of file: 500 KiloBytes
* Estimated line speed: 45.7 (kilobits/second)
* Estimated line speed: 5.6 (kiloBytes/second)

Happy to complain, but what would I be complaining about? Occasional Network downtime, or the lack of 3G/EDGE?

3G/HSDPA nope - GPRS yes - Edge maybe
