@cavedog I have an issue that I'm hoping you can assit with. I can get *arr to copy the files to local root media folders once downloaded but not to the rclone mounted onedrive. Pretty sure it's a permission related thing.

Everything runs under the ubuntu user and group and this is what the permissions look like without rclone active

ubuntu@ubuntu:/media$ ls -la
total 12
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Nov 1 06:46 .
drwxr-xr-x 20 root root 4096 Nov 4 06:56 ..
drwxrwxrwx 2 ubuntu ubuntu 4096 Nov 1 06:56 PlexOnedrive

Once rclone mounts it changes to this (assuming this is normal as root would be doing the mounting):
drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 0 Nov 4 07:23 PlexOnedrive

Any folders created underneath it then inherits these root permissions and I'm guessing that's why it's not working.

My rclone.service looks like this:
Type=simple
ExecStart=/usr/bin/rclone mount \
--config=/home/ubuntu/.config/rclone/rclone.conf \
--allow-other \
--file-perms 0777 \
--vfs-cache-mode writes \
--dir-cache-time=60m \
--onedrive-chunk-size 150M \
--cache-info-age=60m OneDrive:Media /media/PlexOnedrive
ExecStop=/bin/fusermount -u /media/PlexOnedrive
Restart=always
RestartSec=10

[Install]
WantedBy=default.target

Any ideas ?

EDIT: Weird thing is that I can manually in the terminal create directories and files as the ubuntu user post-mount.
Thanks, I'm stealing this (with @cavedog modifications

Does anyone know how to add a second server to your account? I've installed Plex media server on the second machine browsed to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:32400 and logged in with my Plex account. It shows my existing server and libraries but I can't figure out how to add media stored on the second device to the library.

You need to claim it. The easiest being using a ssh tunnel and then using the localhost:32400 to claim it

There’s just a drop down on the left panel for the other server and then you add it there as per usual.

Huh? None of this is necessary.

You log into it, go through the wizard and it shows up in the GUI.

Not if it was installed on a remote server only accessible over the internet. Then the server is unclaimed. You need to access it locally ising the localhost/127.0.0.1 and then login to plex. That claims it.

You can't do that if it's hosted remotely.

Oh right, yes very different story then.

There is another way to do it which has a claim code you configure somewhere as well, I know some of the Docker images work like that because they aren’t directly accessible.

Thanks. The claim code was pretty easy and painless.

An issue I’ve noticed with RClone is that my setup uses --vfs-cache-mode writes and due to this, it looks like the amount of local storage I have available restricts the size of something I can download.

Has anyone used a different setting with success? I’ve noticed that my cache folder gets quite full and restricts the local space available, but it clears itself every hour or so.

Anyone willing to invite me to their share?

My CPU died so in the process of looking for a replacement 10th gen CPU.

You can remove that to read directly from the remote without any caching. Maybe try use a bit more ram with the buffer size flag but shouldn't be required

Sure, I can add you if you want. Just dm me your username or email.

I tried that out but keep getting failed to create errors in sabnznb. The only way to get it to work is using ‘writes’.

Guys, Can anyone Direct me here to Someone that might be willing to share his Libraries with me. I am done struggling with Eskom Screwing up my Plex Server's HDD's. 168TB's of Media, And I am just so over spending hours upon hours each week fixing Disk Errors to maintain this. If you can help a brother out, my Username on Plex is bull0592

Anyone ever try signup/pay for Plex pass from another country, some are much cheaper?

Curious, some of the videos/tutorials I have watched, say you want to watch something, you cant just select it and it plays, it seems you have to choose a server/location to stream from, each time?
No addons like Seren can autoplay if your internet is fast enough. Mine is not so I have it set to source select.

Just buy Plex Pass lifetime.

Signed up for a free month using a code, not bad.
Downloads working.
