For the guys running plex off a VPS, how long does it take before playing starts on your end?

My server is in JHB (like me) and I have an rclone mount to onedrive. There is only write cache used with the mount and I've tried with and without a mem buffer; but it still takes quite a few seconds before it starts playing. Same behaviour when seeking forward in the stream to an uncached point. Is that just normal ?

My current mount settings:

The old fashion way google drive unlimited + plex +sonarr + radarr hosted on Oracle ZA free ARM Instance

New project where I use Real-Debrid + plex + Plex_Debrid hosted on Oracle NL free ARM instance and proxied through Cloudflare.

I'm curious what you're doing now that Google Drive has limits? My unlimited plan dropped to 2TB...

Yeah making plans to move it already. Keen to see how bad/heavy the block is gonna be. But running the traffic over cloudflare could work just another cost

And why WOULD they shut it down? cos it's licenced movies and series?
