Plex, WTF?

All of a sudden PLEX is not available on my desktop is not available and forcing me to buy Plex Pass. I have downloaded the latest release, still no joy. I t work on my TV and Roku still.

Download it from the Microsoft store. Maybe you still had Plex Home Theatre which they discontinued iirc.

Have you tried just using your browser?
 
Plex on my Minix Neo X8-H has started to crash continuously after only about a minute of playing.

Regardless of the video...

Cant find the reason for this anyone else experiencing the same?
 
^ +1, check in your system tray for Plex icon and double click it, should open in browser
 
Was running fine for as long as I can remember. It's just now. Still works as should on the Roku though. It's just in the browser it is forcing me to buy Plex Pass. (Chrome)

Strange, mine still works fine. I don't have Plex Pass, no desire to, either.
 
Please define exactly what the name of the App is that you are having problems with.

Plex Media Player as can be downloaded from their website directly should work just fine.

Crashing or stopping?

What is a Minix Neo? If its an android device you need to purchase the app once off.

That is what I did, it asked for an update, and after that stopped working and wants Plex Pass.

Hmm.

Wonder if they are changing their protocol.

Either way surely it has the R50 once off option to just pay for the app? Although it's a direct download so not sure how they would track that.

You are signed in obviously?

I updated plex server last night and it's still working fine via the browser. Are you still signed in on both the server and client?
