That the banks have been trying to avoid handing over the paperwork shows they have something to hide. Undoubtedly they been looking it over internally, and must by now have realised they've got themselves a real problem. Otherwise they would just hand it all over.
But that wont hold up in court, particularly against someone who is rich.
I heard on the radio, that some R699 car-users managed to get their loan-applications and the deal-sheet was loaded with high end audio/GPS systems and other extras which where never fitted into the cars.
I don't understand how they didn't question the amount they owe. if you signed for 60k and get your approval back for 80k why didn't anyone ask WTF is going on. they just took the keys, signed and left?
The Madoff family will disagree with you
They probably was chuffed that they could get approval for a higher amount, and didn't think to query it?
Or that they was shielded from any communications from the bank etc, and never got to see the final amount etc...

Wait, what?hmmmmm,
I wonder.....
Did this thing really fall apart due to the Hong Kong lot withdrawing?
O
R
Did it collapse because of the etolls?
What are the chances that people were not paying their etolls, because the vehicles were not in their own names but in the name of Mr MasterMind?
Those bills must have started piling up....
Thus changing that which once was a feasible venture into a non- profit org?
there was at least 1 thread here were it was said that Mr had the cars in his name and he was requesting that people buy etags.Wait, what?
Did one person had all the cars in his name? :erm: Didn't say it was like that, but could it be possible for one person to have xxxxx amount of cars in his name?
A financial institution I can understand (bank financing cars etc) but one person?
