Plugg Uncapped ADSL Feedback

Im interested to see how these light accounts perform, if anyone signs up please post feedback. Thanks :)

Hi Janitor,

I tried downgrading from 10 Mbps uncapped to 8 but it wants me to enter payment details again. That seems incorrect. Please confirm if I should or if that's an error.

Email to [email protected] requesting the downgrade yesterday has gone unanswered except for the automated ticket.

Had this same experience. Wanted to transfer my line from Telkom to PLuGG and it also wanted payment details. In fact it wanted me to pay with either credit or debit card... which doesn't make sense as I have a debit order.

Had a call and they'll downgrade me at the end of the month.

Howdy,

Just a quick heads-up that there will be some higher latency out internationally due to a Seacom outage.

Traffic are being rerouted. No ETA at this stage.

We have lost some of our capacity on WACS just a few minutes ago which means that there will be additional latency out internationally. We route traffic out over WACS during outages such as the current Seacom one; we waiting on feedback from the vendor.

Quick Update: Services restored but we are just quickly busy doing a couple of tests to make sure it stays up. Hopefully, no later than 15:30 we will move traffic back onto it.

Seacom outage still in progress though.

Everything is running fine my side, i must commend Plugg on keeping everything stable despite the Seacom issues. I honestly dont think i would have even known it was down if it wasn't for the media coverage.

Local seems fine, international hosed to hell.
