Plugg Uncapped ADSL Feedback

Skype calling was horrible this morning between 7am and 8am.

This was to international clients. Group call from South Africa, Australia, Germany and the USA. Latencies and streaming also seem to be very slow at the moment for me.

Yup streaming slow for me atm also.
 
Also experiencing slow international speeds/bad skype quality/streaming here. Everything was working fine up until last night though, so I'm guessing it's a IS thing?
 
Noticed that some websites are unreachable through Plugg.
http://www.outercurve.org/ <- Outer Curve foundation also some of the downloading sites are un-reachable. Are others seeing this as well? Is it an extensive issue?
 
Unable to stream from Supersport , quality is low to begin with .. shouldn't be a problem for a 4meg line and acc ?
 
Seems like it's a Western Cape thing.

Janitor said they were doing some checks on the IPC links early this morning regarding latency. Seems like something went belly up.

Noticed that some websites are unreachable through Plugg.
http://www.outercurve.org/ <- Outer Curve foundation also some of the downloading sites are un-reachable. Are others seeing this as well? Is it an extensive issue?

There is an issue with the DNS caches serving the Cape Town region. It is being attended to; am waiting on feedback from our services engineers.

Janitor said they were doing some checks on the IPC links early this morning regarding latency. Seems like something went belly up.

As mentioned; we picked up some additional latency on some of the IPC links in Cape Town and had Telkom do some diagnostics to see what is going on. Nothing could go belly up, as it was just testing by Telkom.

We are busy analysing the output that we received from Telkom in order to decide on the way forward.

Quick update on this; we have removed the CTN DNS caches for now until we have resolved the issue. Those of you in Cape Town and surroundings, could you try and connect again to the sites you had issues with earlier and see whether you are able to access/resolve hostnames.

Quick update on this; we have removed the CTN DNS caches for now until we have resolved the issue.

The issues experienced with our DNS Caches in Cape Town are now resolved and put back in-line. As before, those of you that experienced problems, please let me know whether you are able to resolve hostnames and access those sites.

Fine in Cape Town, NZB's at line speed (8 Mbps) + browsing here.
 
Fantastic again today. Been streaming VEVO the entire day at HD quality and no problems whatsoever :)
 
Today I checked my connection since Friday and all is looking good for me. Will carry on testing but it is looking solid for me. Thanks
