PoE Blocker

You can make your own fly leads if you have a crimper, simply don't connect wire 7 and 8 on both sides which is used for POE.
This is the type of advice that blows **** up literally

But if it's passive POE you'd blow up a device by just yanking the DC- and leaving the DC+ (Passive PoE (Pins 4, 5 +; 7, 8 -)

CISCO's proprietary PoE does Pin1 and 2 for power too if memory serves
 
Sounds like you dont really need a poe switch for all this, chop the problem off at the head and get a regular switch?

I see I missed pin 4 and 5.
