Point and click adventure games

Hi there

Could you please suggest a few good point and click adventure games for me.

King's Quest 1-6 and Space Quest if you are into oldies. I have the fondest childhood memories playing these games.

I enjoyed the Strong Bad games as well.

Does anyone remember the Legend of Kyrandia series.. or Lands of Lore. They dont make games like they used to.:(
 
if you are looking for something newer. The telltale games are decent

but +1 for Grim Fandango... nevermind adventure, its one of the best games ever!
 
Agree with everything suggested above! Especially Monkey Island, Broken Sword 1 & 2, Beneath a Steel Sky and Full Throttle!

Another great SCUMM game was Indiana Jones and the Temple of Atlantis (is that the right name?)

Did anybody here play Amazon back in the day? That game was just too awesome :D

Another point and click classic is Gabriel Knight 2 'Beast Within.' Also Sanitarium, The Longest Journey etc...I run XP and use a free virtual pc with Win 98/Win 95 loaded - and play Ripper, Phantasmagoria 1 and 2, the various Tex Murphy games, The X Files, I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, Grim Fandango etc etc. There's a huge amount of adventure games which you can play full screen in virtual PC - apparently DosBox also allows for a lot of games, but I prefer to just run the games on the OS they were more or less made for.

Jip! Game had the best sound on mono pc speaker and the best 16bit vga graphics on my "new" 486.

Don't forget HERO'S QUEST!!! Sierra made some awesome games back then. And then re-released them in VGA Graphics. Was the best!
 
I have most of the old ones and I must say Phantasmagoria 2 Puxxle of flesh is my all time fav.

But I am looking for more recent onse like Syberia.
I had a look at Telltale games and they have a few I might consider purchasing.

Hehe, I think you mixed up Temple of Doom with the game's title. :)

It is Fate of Atlantis.
