Pokemon Go!

So last night I tell my fiancee about this thread and the mention of the Snorlaxes, we go for a quick drive, take over a gym, she hatches a 10km egg and out comes a Snorlax! Was very jealous :-)

Anyone here have a Go Plus?

my wife does. it stopped working a while ago. not sure if its the go plus that stopped working all together or the G4 that was funky. I reaplced the batteries a few times and it did not change a thing.

I keep forgetting to check it with the G6 to see if its the go plus or the phone that caused the problem...

That's disappointing considering what the thing costs.

I've been considering getting one - but I can't bring myself to spend R660 on it though...

Yip had it since Christmas. Mine only gets used when doing an extended walk where there are a lot of poke-stops, otherwise the next thing you know you have no poke balls. Works great as you use up one ball, either get 100 XP if you catch or 25 XP if you don't and your phone battery lasts forever (compared to having you phone screen on all the time)

Only down side is you may throw a poke ball at a Larvitar and it runs away, happened to me the other day at botanical.

Still on original battery.

Time for an upgrade. Loved my S4 but battery life sux. Get some thing new and better.

Newer is not always better, but ja it is getting a bit long toothed, but it still does the job and I would feel horrible replacing it with something that does the same thing only faster. But if I accidentally drop it now all bets are of.....
:P

Kept mine for more than 4 years. Got the P9Lite - really loving it! So nice to have a phone that lasts the day even with constant use. (ok I do carry powerbanks with me - a few - just in case)

I have known him for a year. I would say he doesn't. But you never really know people. But I plan to go there and see for myself. Will let you know what I catch.

Would also want to know the feedback on this, only caught a very singular snorlax after months of play and it sucks...so if there is places spawning them frequent-ish i would be up for that. Worst case it would that if it is indeed a snorlax habitat i might just increase my chances of hatching one.
@Baxteen, i know this is not what the silphroad data suggests, but my experience has shown me otherwise ie if I do not seem them in the particular area I do not hatch them

with eggs and habitat the data is not conclusive, so I can back up that thoery.

are all the dessert biome people exited for the weekend's grass type event?

wife and I are going to the PTA bot Gardens tommorow. 6 lures, 14 pokestops 6 hours. lets get those walking shoes on and hatch a 5K every hour!

Would love to but have IngressFS. But there are lots of portals/pokestops there - so will pop on a lure or two myself. Thanks for the reminder.

lures last 6 hours this weekend.

so anyone who is free this weekend and want in on the mission let me know so we can plan properly.

hey, for some of us the next 3 days will be the most grass type pokemon we see for ages...

True.. for me too slightly and since I have a new account I can likely get all I need to evolve the remaining ones.

I wonder if executor will be part of them

Eggsecute is grass type so you will possibly evolve a few.

and Hornbill, I have responded.

And for others....this is the closest to pokemon hell you can get...evolved three meganium already and back up to 300 candy...i'm already sick of them...yuck....but as I live in a watery/grassland my possibility to catch a shiny bulbasaur might just increase...thats if there is going to be a shiny bulbasaur

I will trade you.
I have stopped catching growlith because I see them so often. I still catch charmanders and Cindaquil, but what am I going to do with my 5th Charizard...

Not seeing many grass types spawning for me - hardly any.

Spawn rates don't seem to be the same as the water event.

Everyone is complaining on reddit as well.

And the bot gardens was a bust. Other than the quilfish nest...
