Wait, can't believe there is no thread yet?

Who are all playing? I started this morning on iOS. Been playing for 6 hours, walked 5 km's and still no Pokémon caught beyond the first when opening the game.

What is everyone else's experience like?

I caught a Charmander & 2 Zubats in my office.

Haven't walked anywhere lol

Caught 2 in my office in the first 5 mins, will give it some proper time later and see what happens. Cool game so far.

I got a Charmander(Starter), 2 Piggies and a Clerify. All in my office park....

Got a few friends that are playing.

I'm still on Android 2.1 with a Galaxy S though so I doubt it will work ok.

I'm on 30 so far after a trip to somerset mall yesterday and a stroll round Onrus.

Just found a Weedle in my toilet too...

Battling to hit lvl5

Will be able to challenge the gyms then !

I hit level 5 yesterday :p

My son and I were out walking and we found that you can go to a Pokestop multiple times after waiting about 5 minutes or so. I've not been in a gym yet, but we're going to visit the gym closest to us later (about 5 minutes drive) when he gets back from a party :D

Starting to wonder whether I have some kind of glitch then.

On level 2 already, as mentioned 5 km's walked, 17 Pokestop visits and still no Pokémon beyond the first. :(

Are you pressing the animal tracks button to see how near/far you are from pokemon? Looks like outlines of pokemon on the bottom right.
When you're near it will show 1 or 0 tracks and the "grass" will rustle/swish. Click on it and the AR battle will begin.

They really should disable the game when you go above a certain speed!
I stupidly turned it on while driving home. Caught 3 pokemons and a pokestop...and almost wrecked myself.

Anyway. Seems the further away you get from built up areas the less there is to do.
