Pokemon Go!

So for ****s and giggles I decided to run one of the available bots this afternoon on a spare pc with a new gmail...yeah, Niantic is going to have to do something quickly.

Ran the thing from about 1pm to 4pm in the V&A waterfront. Got to level 14 with over 700 items despite bag limits etc.

This will basically kill the game once trading is implemented
Which bot did you use? Link?

I'm not advocating it but if you really are interested just check the ownedcore forum.

Also read the article post about the new batch of packets identified today in traffic, seems that Niantic has started checking.

Checked the forum out, looks a bit too complicated for me :o
Thought it was just click and play...

I wonder if this explains the glitching I have seen on gyms.

I beat a yellow gym then before I can add my Pokemon two other people from blue have taken the gym. They were nowhere to be seen and you had to be standing on the spot to get to the gym.

Possibly, but it would be highly coincidental. Also if you are going to bot, why place yourself in South Africa? Rather go run around in a country with proper activity and spawns.

Seems to have died down this side. After 3 days of everyone playing & talking about it...last 3 days I've heard literally zero mentions of it.

A man has called the police after someone "stole" his Pokémon.

A fan of the new mobile app Pokémon Go felt it was acceptable to contact the emergency services when someone took the animated monster he was planning on catching through his device.

The gentleman made the call from Gloucester, southwest England, on 15 July - one day after it officially launched in the UK - and was given a verbal warning from officers for wasting their time, according to the BBC.

Eh? But multiple people can catch the same Pokemon in the vicinity.

So. Was at Schwabinger Stuben (a german pub) last night, which also happens to be a gym.

Decided to try my first ever gym battle. All I saw was a lvl 290 something pokemon...how hard can it be??
Little did I realise it was a level 8 gym with the highest pokemon being 1100+ CP.
Needless to say I was pissing into the wind even trying to defeat that gym!

Still gets you XP though

So if anyone is in the area at some stage, goto carnival city.

Pikachu and eevees abound

Clearly the most difficult aspect of the game is this:
