If you have a team of people someone leaves a low CP Pokemon you can one shot, that way you can quickly level up the gym, when you reach the level gym you want everyone adds their high CP Pokemon, rinse and repeat.

I've definitely hatched a egg since the update, the app's tracking is just notoriously bad, fitness app will say 15km and Pokemon Go will say 5km for the same exact route.

I still have the original android version of the app. Works fine, but I havent been to any gyms since Friday. Shall I continue in this version if its indeed easier to catch Pokémon than the new version? Or will gym battles not work?

It's because of the way Pokemon Go calculates tracking. It gets your location from one point then a minute later gets your location again, the servers apparently calculate the distance in a straight line between both points.

Pokemon catching has apparently become tougher, but I'm not sure if its cause I got to a higher level. I would say don't get the new APK because "nice", "good", "great" throws aren't being awarded points anymore.

Had a rough time catching Pokémon this afternoon - lots of dodging and lots of jumping out of balls - even with razz berries and great balls.

Yup.. Had lots of problems with clefaeries and others and the flee chance has gone up it seems.. I still do manage to catch the odd Pokemon with 400odd cp with a normal ball tho haha.


Eggs seem normal to me.
