all this info comes from a very nice little app I have been using to calculate IV's since sunday. I wanted to make sure it was good and safe before posting about it.

the app is called goStats. if you care about those stats I posted, or the IV's of the pokemon you have its a very good app.

I know linwood bridge is a pretty good spot. there by the tribecca and rapsodys. loads of pokestops and a good place to farm pokestops.

catching water type, just go to Rietflei dam. allegedly it has a dratini spawn. but I have not been there to confirm.

I am yet to find a really good spot for water types though.

Thanks! Need pokemon rather than stops though, have a stop at work and just spin all day... Level 8 and I've got like 300 pokeballs.

I thought Reitvlei would be the spot, out in the sticks though so spawns likely to be quite slow tho

from all the reports I have seen its pretty good. better than Harties for water types apparently.

but also make a day of it and go to brightwater commons, go look at Akasha's post about her day there...

I would find it difficult to do any work and rather drop lures lol.

Yeah out in the sticks there isn't anything you gotta be in more densely populated areas for decent spawn rates.

The IV thing is kinda depressing as when u start doing it u kinda want to drop a lot of pokemon

Canal Walk, V&A, Seapoint and they spawn in a park a few roads away from my house.

Magikarp, Psyduck and Dratini spawn in my apartment.

Your pokemon loses the little gym symbol next to it - and will most likely need to be healed.

Brightwater is hardly worth a "day visit", unless beerfest is on, it's a shytehole

completely agree, but Dratini and Magic carp is worth it IMHO

So last night I went and took over all the gyms at Emmerentia dam (I took them from a level 30 guy with big ass pokemon). Now Emmerentia Dam closes the gates at 6:30pm you can not enter. At 11:30pm last night two of my pokemon were still in the gym and at 11:35pm both were kicked out.

Something suspicious happening!!!

This morning I drive past and the same guy has taken back the gym but he is now level 32.

level 30-31 is 500000 xp and 31-32 is 500000 xp so 1 million xp is needed.

That equates to 10000 evolves (with lucky eggs going off during this time) overnight which I think is Highly Highly Highly Highly unlikely, as well as the park being closed during these times.

So please guys if you are gonna spoof make it a little less obvious.

More likely someone running a bot than someone spoofing GPS coordinates...
