its my absolute favourite pokemon.
ghost type. in pokemon red and blue it had almost no weakness and was super effective against everything.
but back then you could only get the gangar if you traded a haunter from someone else

Ghost is not super effective against anything in RBY... Nothing is super effective against it either though.

ah the good old days of red and blue when the game was unbalanced.
I took down the entire elete four wiht a level 52 haunter. Sleep, confusion. next one the same thing.
ice, fire, dragons, Gary all fell the same way.

I got so bored after a while I started with a magicarp. changed out to my haunter and did this process. evolved a gyarados like that. now that was fun.

and yes I played on an emulator on pc not a game boy,
 
I played and finished R and B on gameboy. Played RBY and FR/LG countless times on emulator, actually busy now with Y using an emulator I can trade with so I'm going to get the full 151 dex.
 
Hatched a Snorlax, caught a Tentacruel. Then someone in the office shouted "Snorlax", so got another one. Today is a good day

its one of the sad things about being on a linux machine. I have not found an emulator that works.

but I when I do, I will go though all the games once, so I can be up to date with the newer pokemon. I hate being a "gen onner" who cant keep up with the other pokemon, plus eventually pokemon go will have other generations of pokemon and I want to know what is good when that comes out.

that is jsut wrong.
I am yet to see a snorlax that is not in a gym.
I am yet to see a Dratini.

I have freaking arcanine's for days, its like they follow me around. we go to flora farm, grass type pokemon EVERYWHERE, suddenly becacuse I am there a freaking growlithe appears.

I have 120 growlith candies. 5 arcanine, and I only keep growlithe that have above 80% IV's. I should not be able to be this picky about such a strong pokemon!

Our building doesn't have a lot of pokemon and the people here are too cool to play it.

They want their Growlithe candies back...

But on another note I'd rather a pack of Growlithe in real life than the amount of Tentacool/Tentacruel that pops up in the gba/ds games when you surf.

You can get andriod emulators to play the old pokemon games. I haven't used any but a friend says they work great.

I played through a lot of the games long ago Diamond, Ruby, Gold, blue but tried to start up the latest gen one "x and y" and just couldn't get into it.

Maybe I'm getting old
 
no, for that to be true you would have had to see at least one paras as well.

you just work in fear and loathing las Vegas.

I want to play the new Sun and Moon ones that is coming out but I am sceptical of the new Alola forms of some of the pokemon..
