Pokemon Go!

What was everyone's first? I chose Bulbasaur.

And went Team Mystic.

Charizard, and went team Valor.
But there's also a way for you to get Pikachu as your start (ala Pokemon Yellow), but I've heard some people say its not a good move cause Pikachu's are abundant, but who knows in South Africa.

Is anyone having an issue where you capture a pokemon and nothing happens after that? It just shows the ball and its not moving or doing anything?

Up for me.

Caught a 190 CP Porygon walking past my local gym last night. See the current occupant only has a 110 CP Spearow.

when the server had its issues. I had caught a machop but didn't get it :( sad.

Edit: its going it again sigh and I just caught something new.

Where are you guys getting the game from? My playstore doesnt have it, but it has geopets (similar thing)

It's not on the app or playstore in SA yet, but there is work around just google Pokemon Go APK or iOS

Like all games, there are some keen people :D
In my area I see multiple CP500+ at gyms, quite a few people above level 12, and on Reddit I see a couple people have farmed the 100 odd magikarps to get the Gyarados evolution

How to download and install Pokémon Go on iPhone

Log out of your Apple ID

First of all, you'll need to make your iPhone belive you're in a region that can download Pokémon Go. Open up Settings on your iPhone, tap on 'Apple ID' and select to sign out.

Now go back into Settings and select General > Language & Region. Set your region as US, New Zealand or Australia - all of these regions can download Pokémon Go.

Open up the App Store

Now open up the App Sotre. Search for Pokémon Go and it should appear. If it doesn't choose a free app to download and select 'Create new Apple ID'.

Go through the process of creating an Apple ID and select 'None' in the Billing menu and add a US, New Zealand or Australian address. Google can come in handy here if you need to search for an address.

Download Pokémon Go onto your iPhone

Now you can download and install Pokémon Go onto your iPhone or iPad. Once Pokémon Go is released in your region you can sign back in with your Apple ID - though you may need to reinstall Pokémon Go.

Luckily your data is saved to the cloud, so you'll be able to play Pokémon Go where you left off.
