How did they make money with other games? Micro payments. I think you only get like 10 Pokemon coins for holding a gym everyday, which is not enough to buy anything from the Poke shop. So people will obviously pay for the items.

Start a pokemon uber service. Drive around to poke centres, dove slowly to hatch eggs.

I think @Chris might be a regular customer if he thought he might get taken to a poke centre
.Haven't checked the dev API but I'm sure there will be lots of 3rd party indexing, cataloging and alert systems built which pull income via ad funding. Then there is multi player mode battles (coming soon) which a 3rd party app could arrange etc
