Never even started for me. I installed it purely because I am impressed by the tech and wanted to see it in action. Never went beyond catching the first pokemon that was next to my bed.

Buy lucky egg, go to Mugg n Bean at Montecasino over a weekend and sit between the three pokestops. You'll level up pretty quickly with the constant lures being deployed.

Played to level 9 but getting repetitive. Same gyms, same pokestops every day.
 
My experience so far since the EU launch

Caught about 5 and ran away from 3 on the way to work this morning.

Im going Saturday night, hope to get a lure and lucky egg to throw down while im there
 
I took the dogs to Emerentia Dam this weekend and at one point there where 7 lures dropped at the same time.

I used the lucky egg and went from lvl 9 to lvl 13 and left the park with 180 pokeballs, 40 great balls and 10 new Golbats (I had to delete potions and revives).

Game has got hard though gyms are now lvl 1200+ and I'm just starting to bring in the 800s. :(

Fight gyms with friends at same time, helps
 
I'm a tad miffed about where you actually find the pokemon, seems like the game is forcing you to go to shopping malls and popular places.

Was on leave last week so played a lot of golf (3+ rounds) which effectively is about 18Km's+ I walked with the app open. Caught 3 or 4 of the buggers, eggs didn't update at all with the distance traveled.

Driving home yesterday, stop at a garage along the way, 5 pokestops right by each other and tons of things to catch.

So what's the point of walking then if I can just go sit and wait?
 
Loosing interest fast. I work 9-5...so can't really play then.
Only on weekends....and then the servers are unavailable.
I'm on level 6 after 'playing' for a week.
 
Played for 2 days and level 9 this is with the massive down time too.

Got a few Pokemon with 400+ cp so amassing an army along with huge dragon types which have 75% of candy for evolution x4 of these

Same. It is bollocks that when I get a chance to try and "catch em all" the servers are always down!

I hit level 16 this weekend.

Friday night I dropped an egg and evlolved 10 pokemon, mostly pidgey.
caught a few new pokemon while the egg was active. Irene Mall was good, no server downtime while we were there.

SAturday we went to Cresta, had loads of fun, Caught a gastly and a ton of zubats. hatched two eggs.

Sunday morning we went to the Flora Farm lure event. Dropped two eggs while I was there, the Fiance went to level 12 and caught a squirtle. I caught an app crash instead of a squirtle and it never came back for me.

then the servers went down so I have not been able to get the gym by my house back.
the gym by work is solidly ours. its level 7 at the moment. we have a few low level pokemon in it and then very high level pokemon so we can just fight the gym during the day for XP and to gain prestiege.

tonight if the servers are up and running I plan on taking a walk with an egg out and catching some more ghastlies and taking back my gym and the other gyms in the area.

Yes, need to move Pokestops away from roads and make grass areas the hunting spots.
 
that's it, had enough. pokèmon go can go get nickel plated, still not working, and no pokèmon
