Pokemon Go!

I generally play at night after settling in having supper, etc.
I joked about it with my SO every time, but eventually got approached by the neighbourhood watch last night.
He says my car has been reported on 4 different whatsapp groups.

This is me, driving to pokestops (they are quite far apart) and parking to fight gyms.
Good on them for keeping active and questioning me though, I agree that it does seem like very suspicious behaviour.

Last night specifically, after taking a gym, I look up and there are two men watching us.
I reversed and carried on to the next stop, they never approached me and I didn't feel the need to explain myself.

**** this game! I just lost my CP 298 meowth and 50 candies, was evolving it and then it just stopped and now I have no meowth/persian and zero candies!

Ouch that sucks.

I've had the app crash mid egg hatch before but the Evee that was hatching was not affected by this.

How many of you have traded in your starter Pokemon? I still have mine, but wondering if it makes a difference if you keep your original and train it up.

I honestly don't remember choosing one...

Don't you need less dust and candy to get the evolved version to the same CP?
E.g. If I evolve at 600cp I get a 1647cp vaporeon
If I evolve at 650cp I get a 1785cp vaporeon
So the powerups required to get the vaporeon to the same level as the 1785cp one after evolving from 600cp is more than just powering up the eevee and evolving it.
I have no clue though, so I am asking.

I retract my previous statement. Even though the cost of powerups etc doesn't change, you might want to consider evolving first since your moveset changes and you don't want to spend a ton on powering up only for it to evolve with a crap moveset

Thanks! I powered up a bit before, but then stopped doing that.
Read exactly this tip but already spent the candy.
I got a vaporeon with Hydropump, so will keep powering it up, since it has perfect iv as well.

May have traded it in accidentally... Or just because it looked weak and had reached my catch limit thing.

Curious to find out what the IVs where like for peoples starter though.

Clefairies are becoming more plentiful for me than Zubats

yip I have been finding clefairies, poliwag, caterpies, weedles, pidgies, krabbys, cubones and today for the first time I have seen a Omanyte after that I saw another 3. Normally I would find at least 50 zubats a day and I have only seen 3 today. These are just at my house.

I think they updating servers for release (holding thumbs).

I read a theory on reddit confirmed by rural players, if you go somewhere where it's far enough away from any spawns, stops or gyms and you use incense you will get random/rare Pokemon because the area isn't specific to a certain type.

Multiple people did this and found everything from Gyarados to Electabuzz.
May explain why evees are like rats where I live

And here I am in the middle of nowhere, and no incense, and don't wanna spend real cash
