Pokemon Go!

Yeah seeing people get away with exploiting put me off. I've never seen the point of cheating. Also, having to the ages to catch basic, low CP Pokémon got annoying pretty quickly.

took a drive last night to our beechfront to top up on balls etc
walked 7km collected some pokemon
and collected about 200 items from stops :)
gained about 20k xp too
 
I have 13 evolutions to catch/walk/hatch then I can finally pop a lucky egg. The patience is the worst part.

I love that more people are sharing Trainer Tips videos here now. it makes me happy.

apparently there is a massive memory leak in the game. i thought people were talking usual crap when I read it. so test it for yourself.
open the app. check memory usage.
open a level 10 gym, check memory usage.
close the gym open it again and check memory usage.

4 or 5 repeats should crash your phone.

Also I figured out there is a softban on gyms. if you fight a gym, and your gps makes you wonder out of range and you get error, that is it, 10 min ban for you tough luck buddy.

all these wonderful things I am learning because I am playing on a 4 year old phone instead of my regular flagship...

Ah, that's why the GF's phone dies... My Z3c seems immune though.

Had a good poke weekend, Irene mall for a wander and then double lure at roccomammas for lunch on sat. Bot gardens sunday, tagged on someone else's double lure and then put 2 down myself, couple of walks to get all the stops. Jumped over 50% of the way from 21 to 22.

Got a 1500 Arcananine at the gardens which was nice, going to be used as a gym stuffer.

glad to hear. so PTA bot gardens worth it stops wize? I am in desperate need of a refiling session. been to busy lately

my loan phone is a Z1c compact and its suffering btw.

Very worth it, 13 or 14 stops, can just keep walking around and getting one after the other, by the time you've done a loop they've recharged. After 3 double lure sessions I've got 105/29/12 balls still.

This can't be new cause my game would crash when viewing some gyms for weeks.

its not new. its been a known bug since 0.35. but I never noticed it because the G4 had amazing ram management. now however....
