Your 1 of those people sitting in the lounge @ night complaining about crime and on the other hand hope it doesn't happen to you. If it does you blame everyone but yourself.

Years ago some guys who wanted to join the reserves made a ruckus because they were turned away due to the length of their hair. Pure sexism since females can have long hair. Instead of changing a stupdi rule they turned away people willing to give their time and risk their lives to help.

Hmm, I have shoulder-length hair and it was never mentioned when I went in. Maybe they did change it? I keep it tied back most of the time anyway.

it bugs me the way there seems to always be a massive manhunt if something happens to a cop but they can't muster the same effort for the rest of us.

Are the police anywhere any different?
