Politically incorrect

THERE has been lots of press about one of the bidders in the Vodacom BEE money fest, the Amandla Omoya consortium, which includes some pretty powerful names in BEE, including Bulelani Ngcuka, former Scorpions head and husband of Deputy President Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka.

It's a fact that most big companies, choose BBBEE partners with government connections. If you are going to be forced to partner with a BBBEE company, you might as well get some extra contracts.

So let me understand this - if you're black and connected you get to become an overnight billionaire making the kind of money you would never get if you actually worked for a living ?
Sounds like nationalization to me.
I would love to know how many of these BEE people have actually made their money grow as opposed to just spending their money on flashy cars, planes and the like.
Who would have thought that bombing a few wimpy's could make you so rich......
