I think Romney is a good guy

A good guy how?

He strikes me as a heartless billionaire, who has the empathy of an ice-block, and who holds stupefyingly insane religious beliefs (magic underpants, FFS...), and whose views are the most inconsistent of any politician I've ever followed, just about.

Osama is not a candidate for US elections. He is dead.

Romney is hardly an idiot (A person of subnormal intelligence) he has several post graduate degrees from Harvard and Standford Universities.

He is a smart business man, but that doesn't make him a good president.

I doubt he will make any difference. America's main export markets are in the doldrums.

Obama was unlucky. He got saddled with Bush's debt. He shouldn't have pushed his healthcare so early. But then he made an election promise, unlike any republican he was naive enough to try and keep them. That's obama's failing.

Of course most people outside of Amertica, and probably a fair number inside America, have no clue how the American system works. Its not a dictatorship. This is a very difficult concept for some people. The President cannot introduce legislation. Only Congress can. He can ask them. He has some veto power, but Congress can overcome that.

The Office if President if the US is a brilliant way if focusing attention on one person while those that have the real power can get on with it. Everyone can bitch about one person, who, in reality, doesn't really make much of a difference, and it doesn't really matter if he stays or goes.

He wont. Im not worried.... and you gotta be a little daft to think he will (ie, not understand how maths and the american voting system works).

The only sad thing about this is he probably wont win enough seats in congress to break the filibuster. So the Republicans are just ganna screw over the americans again and make sure nothing passes. Only advantage to this is the Bush era tax cuts end on the 1st of Jan. Cant wait.
