Polls on these forums

Polls are fine, but IMO only official polls (read : moderator generated) should be reflected on the main page and also kept in a separate (locked for new threads by members) forum.

I was under the impressions this was ONLY about polls in the forums, nothing about main page polls?!?
I would like t ohere from the 43% (currently) that think only mods should create polls, WhY?

The kind of polls were not specified, which is why I mentioned the main page polls.

LOL, I can say from experience the last week or so that organising a poll (rallying up support for it, as well as initially discussing what options should be offered) is not as easy as it looks .

There is one thing I don't quite understand, if we all want polls, then why so few votes since 04-01-2005, 03:24 PM?
