Polo 1.4 trendline

Hi there. Need advice.
So im currently driving an old 2007 Toyota auris 2.0 d4d and im thinking of getting a new car for myself but pre-owned. Just saw an offer of 2012 VW Polo trendline 1.4 going for R125 000 with 64 000 km with finace for R2 590pm. This is with my budget just wondering if the polo is worth the money. Thanks

That's a nice car, my wife had the exact same car before the up. She had a 2010 model, bought it in 2013 for R117k, so I would hazard that that car is way too expensive.

The car itself was very light on fuel. Very quiet inside as well. Don't expect too much in terms of acceleration though.

The car looks clean and well taken care of, but my let down is that it the radio doesn't have usb and bluetooth. But everything else looks fine with front electric windows.

You can work around that though, get a Bluetooth to FM transmitter, but a proper one not the flea market type.

Your auris d4d is a better car, why downgrade?

Trendline spec is rubbish and the engine is even worse, D4D pulls much better than that 1.4

I'd look for a cheaper one. Or negotiate.

I drive the 1.3 Auris and i am happy with it as a daily since its low maintenance and low fuel consumption.

The auris is old with 200 000km and has some issues. Hence i want to get rid of it.

My Auris is sitting on 230 000km and its been faultless with lil maintenance.

Just beawre that moving from a 2L Diesiel motor to a 1.4 its going to be a big change.
That diesiel torgue wont be there anymore.

Out of interest, what issues does your car have that need attention ASAP.
