I will never understand why people buy Polos and Golfs. They are the most boring cars in the world. Its like an accountant and an admin clerk had a baby and that child grew up and needed a car.

There is nothing about the body or the interior that could possible excite even the most excitable dog.

Last time I got a quote - R265k. That was in October 2014.

There was a drop in price when the "new" polo came out with the new engines.
So nobody wanted the 1.4. but around April 2014, it was over 300k.

Salesman in southern suburbs said more than 50% of his gti sales were cash. I was like :wtf: who walks in and buys that cash? I was surprised and pi$$ed off in equal measure.

This just means that it was 50% non traditional car finance. People buy cars with their access bonds.
