To whom it may concern,
If you're considering RSAWEB - simply put... kindly reconsider.
I've had a really poor experience... firstly I'll start of with my line details:
I'm running a 200/200 Mbps uncapped fibre line through Vumatel's network.
Irrespective of current international cable issues (as this has been my experience since I signed up in 2019):
With this line I can't even stream Twitch at 720p (even prior to any international cable issues). Don't get me wrong - locally cached content can (mostly) be accessed at ~200 Mbps, however ANYTHING and EVERYTHING international doesn't get close to the "promised" 200 Mbps down speed... up I get > 150 Mbps no problem, however down I'm lucky if I get 50 Mbps.
To make matters worse... RSAWEB blocks certain protocols/traffic without any mention anywhere... this I only discovered recently with our current "lockdown" seeing as my wife now needs to work from home and RSAWEB is blocking all SIP (similar to VOIP) traffic. I've been struggling for almost a week now to get this resolved, and it seems like they're making no progress in this regard. This in turn is placing my wife's work in jeopardy.
I'm not sure if they have any presence here on the forums (especially during this time), however I find it absolutely ludicrous that anything is blocked to start off with. Why pay full price for an internet connection if they decide to only give you a partial service?
