Poor Vodacom 3G signal and SIM problem

I live in MenloPark in Pretoria. Am using the Vodafone K4505-Z modem. Many times a day it looses connection and even gives a 'no SIM' or 'no device detected' error. I have to then remove the modem and plug it in again and then all works fine for a while.
Another problem - it shows the modem as still connected but when I try and send/receive mail or connect to the net it says that no connection is available.

This is SO annoying and I a have had my IT person out a few times but not even he can figure it out. Any help please?

You must go and give it to vodafone service center , Customer care service can only fix this problem .
