Hi Guys

I have an issue with MS Outlook

there are 3 different accounts linked with one vodamail account
example

[email protected] Main user
[email protected] second user
[email protected] 3rd user

I have configured outlook so that each account has it's own .pst file with it's own inbox
now the problem I have is that if you send a mail to [email protected] all the other mailboxes receives the mail and sent items.

I have tried setting up outlook with 3 profiles(one for each of the accounts)
I have tried changing the send/receive group settings

no luck. No matter which mailbox you send to or from all the other receives the mails

Is there a way to configure outlook that each mailbox receives only mails directed at the specific address "[email protected] for example

It is an inconvenience to receive mail once on each account, any assistance or solutions would be a great help.

PS. if there is already a thread for this please direct me to it..

Problem is you have one Email mailbox with 3 aliases, not 3 separate (linked) mailboxes. All incoming Emails come to the same mailbox on the Vodacom mail server. I am not expert in Outlook, but I think you should to keep all stuff in one pst, then create three separate inbox folders each one with separate filtering rule, the same as you filter all incoming junk.
BTW, Creating Google accounts is easy.

Nevermind, I solved it.

when the message arrives, with the specific word in the recipient's address(aka email address) move it to the specific folder.

so all the messages will go to the main inbox. then from there moved to the correct pst files for the other mailboxes so that each account only receives mail addressed to them

I will have to create a similar rule for the sent items too though.. meh:erm:

Yip, it is the way to do it.
As a benefit you will download your mail once, not three times. :)
