Pork Kassler chops

No it's a problem. I get like sick when I eat it. I tried gloves but it doesn't help :(
Pity - gloves works my my kid who cannot stand touching uncooked chicken.

Known phobia, I had a girlfriend once who was exactly the same. She had to get other people to assist when it came to handling the raw stuff, but she cooked up a storm though, best lasagna and Italian steaks ever.

TBH I get sick and lose my appetite every time that I smell or taste fake stuff, like McDonalds' fake "smoked" sauces that they put on burgers.

I also avoid all uncooked meats that have a "marinade" or "special" spice on them, it is clear that they are trying to disguise the real state of the rotting carcass.

Kesseler rib is a delicacy, only a proper (preferably German) charcuterie can make it. Be careful where you buy it from, lotsa wannabees. Last I had it was at Der Bohmerwald in Pretoria, AFAIK they have now moved to Pretoria East, where The Farm Inn used to be.

Checkers champions boerewors is a definite no-no?
TBH I would not know, I would not buy Boerie from them. I guess that it's OK if you personally know the butcher, and have personally witnessed him/her making Boerie, and seeing with your own eyes what goes into it.

For the record, I have nothing against eating properly prepared bulls' testicles, I have many times with Lebanese friends, good fusilli is great. Just do not tell me that it's proper boeriewors stuffing, which ought to be respectable parts of the cow.

Meat World Boerewors...never again.
They have many types. I look for the one that says "No Pork" on the label. Some of theirs even say "artificial casing".
Anyway, I bought some wors from them recently and within 30 secs of putting it on the braai the casing split in multiple locations (not the artificial casing...I would never). The coals flared up so bad, there was actually a major fire incident at my place, I had to take the wors off so all the fat could drain out properly.
It ended up like normal wors but I probably won't do a Meat World wors again. And BTW, lemon juice on wors while its cooking is the shiz!

Stop shopping at Pick and Pay and go to Checkers instead.

Only ever gotten terrible meat at P&P.
