Porsche Driver Road Rage caught on Camera

I'd definitely be curious as to what kind of <insert unflattering adjectives> occupants were in the Porsche.

Will think twice though next time about being too curious :p
 
So it is perfectly fine to not take any responsibility for what your passengers do in your car. And after you as the driver witnessed assault, you surely committed a crime by just leaving the crime scene. By the sounds of the passengers attorney, no charges against the driver.

Law says it if your passenger aren't buckled up, you get the fine, not the passenger.

If it had been me he would have met a 9mm hollow point and I would have argued about it in court two years down the line, if it ever went that far.
 
Why isn't the driver being charged with reckless driving? He is just as guilty because he is driving the passenger from the scene of the assault. There fore he is aiding a crime.

We need to have an example set with these two morons.
I would like to see both get community service, heavy fines, make them cleanup the corner of that intersection for the next 12 months and then get them both to publicly apologise.

Are you going to go lay a charge for that? Remember you'll need witnesses. I don't think anyone else involved has bothered yet. There no evidence of reckless driving in the video before or after the assault (the victim did lay an assault charge).
 
MAN IN COURT OVER ROAD RAGE INCIDENT

A man arrested in connection with an alleged road rage attack in Fourways, Johannesburg, is expected to appear in the Randburg Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.

Police said the man was brought in by his legal representative on Tuesday, and was released on bail.

The incident, on Witkoppen Road around 3pm on Saturday, was recorded by an eyewitness and posted on YouTube.

The video shows a passenger getting out of a Porsche and kicking at a VW Jetta on the driver's side.

When the Jetta driver rolls down the window, the other man starts to punch him. A struggle ensues and the man grabs what appear to be the Jetta's keys and throws them away.

In an interview with broadcaster eNCA, the driver of the Jetta -- who asked to remain anonymous for fear of victimisation -- said he was punched in the face. He said he opened a case of assault.

"I was driving behind him and he was cutting off people left, right, and centre. So I went closer to see what kind of a Porsche it was and the passenger threw a can out the window at me," the man was quoted as saying.

"Then he threw another can, and it hit my car. So I hooted, flipped him the finger and asked what the hell he thought he was doing.

"He damaged my tracking device and stuffed up my side mirror. It all happened so fast I didn't even have a chance to think," the man said.

ARREST WARRANT FOR ROAD RAGE SUSPECT

A warrant of arrest was issued on Wednesday for a man accused of a road rage assault in Fourways, Johannesburg, when he failed to arrive at court.

He was due to appear in the Randburg Magistrate's Court. The magistrate ordered his immediate arrest and that he forfeit his bail.
