Hello!

Does anybody know if Herotel does something strange with public facing IPs? The IP my router thinks it has and the one I get from search results is different.

I'm trying to port forward with no success.

Has anybody else run into this problem?

Thank you for your time.

Sounds like your WAN interface has a private IP address because you're being CG-NATTED. If that's the case you won't be able to forward ports because you don't have your own public IP address. Just use a reverse proxy like Cloudflare Zero Trust instead. It's free and is much safer than port forwarding.
