Im struggling to open ports on my router so i can host a server for a game on pc

Summery of what ive done so far below with screenshots

Router - TP link Archer C20
1: I have reserved an IP address i grabbed the detail from network settings in windows 10 as shown below

I then filled these details in to the router homepage here

2: Setting up port forwarding seems simple enough, i need the following ports opened for my game as discussed in this thread on steam https://steamcommunity.com/app/228380/discussions/0/613938693082657261/
So here below is what mine looks like - With the IP Address being the same as the reserved IP address which i found in network settings on windows 10

However, if i use the port checker They all come back false, not open. And of course nobody can join my server in game

What am i doing wrong?
Any suggestions most welcome and appreciated :)

You don't need to redact that IP address, it's a private IP which is only applicable on your local network.

What kind of internet connection do you have?

I have an uncapped fibre connection, with Cool Ideas on the Frogfoot network, i have established with cool ideas that they dont restrict any port forwarding so technically i should be able to?
Unless Frogfoot do? I havent spoken to them about it, but i assumed it would be more an ISP related thing.

I have also tried turning off my firewall and antivirus, but still closed

I have opened ports for some games as well which show as closed when checking, would be interesting to see if someone figures out as to why it would do that.

Have opened ports for something else the exact same way and that shows open so not sure what gives.

I would like to add, i know absolutely nothing about networking and how the internet works, i click buttons and expect things to happen.
Im just following google instructions from others, it all makes sense, but there could be so many unknown things happening in the background that only network experts know about :) Some silly setting somewhere

Would be happy to try set one up and see if it works but dont own wreckfest on steam to check, I have however successfully setup a rust server and managed to open up ports etc to show up in the server selection.

Funny thing to note here is I have opened port 27015 as well and it shows closed for me as well.

Are you sure you aren't behind a NAT IP? If you google "what is my ip", does it correspond to the WAN IP your router reports?
I have a static ip with afrihost and openserve, no issues on ports that I have opened for rust or our business vehicle tracking server but seems like ports that I opened for apex legends remain closed for some reason.

Sorry my question was actually directed at @chrisbaker1981 but I seem to be unable to click the correct buttons

this could even be something simple like windows firewall blocking the connection to your machine, assuming you forwarding those ports to your pc

I checked now, whats my ip returns the same as what the router shows on the routers home page

Open command prompt write netstat -ano and see if the ports are forwarded.

That's how you open ports on windows.

After opening the ports write netstat -ano
again to see the ports are open and try again.

Ok here they all are setup in my firewall, restarted pc

But dont see them listed when i type in netstat -ano in command prompt.

What did you do?
To be honest, nothing extra, i just opened the game up and started the server and now my friends can see me.
I thought i had already tried that, but clearly not. :X3:
So even though testing in command prompt and using porttracker websites, they all return closed, but the game sees them as open.
So the way i had set it up as shown in the screen shots above worked for this games specific port requirements.

It's worth mentioning port checking websites can usually only check TCP connections, not UDP connections used by most game servers.
