Port Forwarding

To be honest, nothing extra, i just opened the game up and started the server and now my friends can see me.
I thought i had already tried that, but clearly not. :X3:
So even though testing in command prompt and using porttracker websites, they all return closed, but the game sees them as open.
So the way i had set it up as shown in the screen shots above worked for this games specific port requirements.
I was going to say that the ports won't be open if the service is not running on the host.

Hi everybody

First time posting anything on a forum, but hopefully somebody can help. I'm on the Rain 5g network and found both Port Forward and Port Mapping in the router settings. I cannot seed at all on uTorrent but downloads are fine. I followed some tutorials and attached a screenshot of what I tried, but it makes no difference it seems.
As you can see I have decent download speeds.

Thanks, Meir

Check online using a port checker to see if the port is open.

Settings seem correct so the only thing could be that you are behind CG-NAT which won't make your port forward work, I believe

EDIT: See here. Unless something has changed, it seems they do use cgnat. https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/threads/rain-lte-port-forward.1101096/

99% of mobile carriers use CG-NAT which means you wont be able to port forward.
Last time I used Rain, this was still true.

I have read about that, but why would they bother putting port forwarding on their router settings? Seems weird!
