Portable Power Stations

A friend of mine is thinking of getting this unit and asked my opinion (I had suggested a Gizzu but it's been a while since I looked into the options for portable power stations tbh). R6,999 seems a good price for 1600W / 1536Wh / LFP cells / UPS, but I can't find confirmation anywhere online that it's pure sine wave AC output. Does anyone here have experience with this range?

Answered my own question in the end, it is pure sine wave as expected. If anyone else is interested, it seems these units are made by Skyworth in China but branded differently depending on the market they're sold in, for example this is the same unit sold in Canada:

Try to get an Ecoflow or Anker, when these are on sale, given they have a 5 year warranty and this only has 2.

In the end the person who asked my opinion on this model went with something else, but I decided to order one myself as I had wanted a more capable portable option and R6999 for 1600W/1536Wh/LFP seemed a good deal.

The Takealot description is vague and just says it comes with a charging cable, but for those who might be interested it does come with the combination of AC/solar/car cables one would expect.

Nice, thanks for sharing. Let us know how it goes. I was also interested in this after your first post!
