I actually ordered one, as this seems a crazy good deal for 1600w. Although there are no reviews on the Switched model, it looks like another one of the Chinese re-brands. Saying that, there are some really positive reviews on YT.

Beware if positive review if the reviewer gets a kickback on the amount of the referral sales.
 
I see the Switched 600w power station on special at Onedayonly.. no solar charge option though

Model: Switched 2400W 2496Wh

I took delivery of my power station yesterday and overall it seems to be a solidly built and attractive unit.
I've tested it a fair bit now and here are some of my take-aways:
The good:
  • Charges up fast - going from 50% to a 100% took less than an hour for me.
  • UPS functionality works great. My pc stays on when the power cuts.
  • AC pass through works without the unit even being switched on which I found pretty cool
  • Display is nice and informative
  • 3000+ cycles means it should last a long time
  • Unit is quiet when discharging and when fully charged or running in AC passthrough. (Still need to test this when running something like an airfryer on the unit though)
The bad:
  • The fan noise when under full charge. It clocks in at an unpleasantly loud 72db.
  • Not much to the user manual - it's basically a tiny pamphlet

Overall I can recommend the unit if you can deal with the noise when charging. For the price paid it is fantastic value. I'll probably keep mine - just gonna have to hide it somewhere to mitigate some of the noise ;)

Then a colleage told me about the following which could be a good buy. Locally this is R18000.

Strange, Loot and other places were selling for 21k, now the price has gone up again.

If you do a Google search there are still a few places selling for around the 21k mark. Can't vouch for them so don't want to give a link, but if you Google Ugreen PowerRoam UPS 2200W 2048Wh LiFePO4 Portable Power Station, it should bring up a few options.

I doubt you will get it for 21k at the moment. The distributor is selling them for 23k to resellers at the moment. And they only have a few left.

Loot had it at R21 600 a few days ago.

A Google search brings up two places, one selling for R21 600 and another for less.

Need advice..I'm looking for power station of 600w minimum that acts as a ups so that I can just leave it in all the time and it switches over automatically when power goes off?any suggestions..not too worried about recharging time

Have you tried using it with any audio/home theater equipment? I've also got one of those units and for the most part it works well but I have a few gripes... the biggest being the fact that whenever it changes over to battery, anything connected with a stepdown transformer starts humming/buzzing, such as my Yamaha AV receiver, subwoofers, etc..

Been driving myself up the wall testing and trying to make sense of what's causing it - I don't think it's groundloop so either some sort of DC offset or noisy AC output which I wasn't expecting to be the case with the device featuring a pure sine wave inverter. As soon as AC mains is restored, all the buzz/hum disappears immediately.

The weird part is that it occasionally doesn't occur for the first few minutes at full charge, but starts happening when the battery level drops to <92% - or doesn't happen if the AV receiver is the only device plugged into the UPS. If I switch over to battery, turn on the AV receiver - no hum/buzz from the transformer, but as soon as you switch on another device (TV or PC) it starts up... Bzzzzzzzzzzzz... pulling my (non-existant) hair out over this :ROFL:

I've tested the same setup with another cheapie 720Wh Li-Ion "Pure sine wave" PPS (no built in transfer switch) and attached loads with transformers are whisper quiet..
