I'm thinking of making a Portal tshirt (...yes, I know it's 6 years late, but I only started playing the game yesterday for the 1st time!!)
Here's my first attempt at a design below.
What do you guys think? Any suggestions?
And what colour should it be... I only used black to make the blue/orange stand out so you can see it properly... is black the way to go?
I guess the real test is to consider: If I were to sell this at R200, would you buy one? (If yes, then it's good. If no, then it requires some more work!)

I'd take one but swap them around. The one with the head should be in front.

Its cool, the guy running is a bit on the wide side though :P

Ok... Lemme redo it the other way round and post it up and see how the feedback is.

Hehehe. Schwarzenegger was also a 'large' Running Man

I would get one, but R200 is a bit steep :erm:
same, R200 is a bit much no?
I was just saying that if the market thinks it's worth paying a premium for, then it's confirmation that the design is good.
That being said, this is a one-off custom item... so you'd expect it to:
1. be of a premium quality (print and tshirt), and
2. cost a bit more than a mass produced product

I'd probably take one if you put the guy with head on the front.

I'd pay for good quality material and proper printing job,

Hate tshirts that fade and print that gets damaged after a few washes etc

still wouldnt mind a fair MYBB discount thought :D

I design these things more for myself than anything else. But the cost of a single print is prohibitive, so I usually post them up on myBB and myGaming to see if anyone else thinks it's worth it, and then I get my supplier to make a batch of 10 to 20... that way I get the unit price down and everybody wins. Point of the story is that I hear you... Quality is of utmost importance cos I'm getting these made for myself as much as anyone else. Which is why the last time I sold tshirts on myBB and myGaming I was very particular about print quality and tshirt quality with my supplier. The print is flex vinyl for durability, not ink. It gets heat-pressed onto the tshirts. So you won't get the print cracking and breaking off the way ink prints disintegrate... this is more like the sponsors logo on a replica football shirt. Unless someone irons on it, it will last a long time.
The only drawback is that you can't have picture-like prints... it has to be solid-colour like the design above... You can search this section of the forum for my previous threads and see what I've done before.

like so?...

Why did you swap the colours?

Orange in front please. :)

As long as the shirt you are paying 200 or even 150 for does not use plastisol you will be fine, if you can feel a heavy presence of plastic like printing, you should not buy the t-shirt for that amount of money.

Most people use it because the ink is dirt cheap but your 150-200 rand shirt will start fading and cracking within a couple months as it's mass produced.

I will pm inevitability and see what we can work out, i don't use plastisol as a general rule as i have a small printing company and like to keep the quality as high as possible even on the bigger runs. obviously when we are talking 5000-10000 you have no choice but to use the ink as automatics really can't afford to stop while people clean screens :D.

lol.

Now you mirrored the images.

hahahaha.

Just the original ones swapped and I will buy them.

It's actually cooler with the head coming out the front. Also makes more sense (to me at least) to have the first part of the text on the front as people tend to read shirts front then back.

Indeed! The first part of the Aperture logo absolutely has to be on the front.

Which leaves one of 2 possibilities for the "Running Man" viz.
1. He runs to the left, or
2. He runs to the right, but the logo goes on the other side of the portal (which then means it will have to get the opposite colour... of course)
...both of which were presented above

and, while we're at it... I prefer the front to be blue!
EDIT: Imagine a tshirt that was blue in front and orange at the back!

Oooooooooo!

If his last batch was anything to go by then its quite good quality. I bought a Hitman one from him a couple of months ago :)

Now that I've vouched for you, Inev, I'm expecting mine in the mail as well...for mahala :p

I also liked the head on the front. And orange. But flipped the images vertically(Mirrored them).

Head should be facing right not left.

These are right, just make front completely orange and back completely blue:

But the Portals are blue on one side and orange on the other, not blue when you look at it from the left, and orange when you look at it from the right (or vice versa).
