Porting from MTN to 8ta

Hi

I've just ported my mtn number to 8ta. I was told it would take two to three days for the number porting to be successful and that
under no circumstances should I insert my 8ta sim into my phone or any other phone. 24hours haven't passed yet and I have a message on
my phone saying "sim not provisioned:2".
Does it now mean that my number has been successfully ported and I can use my 8ta sim?

Try and dial out.

If it doesn't work, then you have been ported.

The sad thing is that 8ta roams on MTNs network, so you still gonna see the dreaded MTN name on your phone.
