Porting to existing contract

Hey all,

Is it possible to port a prepaid number to an existing contract sim? I've got the Black Friday but couldn't port my number at that time as it was still on contract, but it is now moved to prepaid. I don't really care what happens to the number on the contract.

How long has the number been on prepaid? I do believe there to be a 3 month waiting period between ports?

Not even a month yet, but I moved from MTN contract to MTN prepaid.

Technically it's possible.

Where the SP will be willing to make it happen is another question.
